Area51m pics - Page 2

LOL at the glowing eyes. Really, they are ridiculous. I dont get why Laptops this large (16 inches, or the Toshiba 17" wide screen) dont include the numeric pad. Other than those two details, the look of this lappy is gorgous.

Cheers.

Dont know what all the fuss is about the Apple Powerlessbook.
Yeah they do look sweet especially that 17 incher. But man has anyone taken a look at the components in there? 64mb video? 133mhz processor?

100 fps Q3 = Apple/Mac/Crap
250+fps Q3 = Any AW/Sager

Any Questions?

Go to Alienware's website and go to the area-51m webpage and click customize on any config and then on the case option click LEARN MORE...it tells you everything you need to know about the lappie...BTW the dimensions are listed the same for both screens and it is...13.8X11.4X1.6...hope this helps!

Its just about 4 CD's high and about as wide as a Domino's Pizza box. It's a beauty. Unfortunately is going on a RMA return flight home.

Spent a whole night with a Tech trying to get the wireless working and the only thing that happend was a few blue screens and then poof! No more built in ethernet card and thfe 1394 port was a perpetual conflict in XP. Did like 3 re-installs but the built in Ethernet port just vanishes. Sounds like a mainboard. So its off to sunny miami and a 3 week wait. Oh well.

BTW the one decent tech I spoke to was James Sanders. If you get him your in pretty good hands. Hes knowledgeable and best of all hes a truthsayer so you wont have to deall with any propaganda.......

Those are extremely awesome pics. What kind of camera were you using?brand?model?

lol.. a Powerbook? So what if MacOS is UNIX based? So is Linux. You aren't forced to run Windows on an x86 machine buddy Maybe the system architecture allows it to perform better than an x86 running at a similar processor speed, but paying approximately the same amount for a powerbook 15" as an Alienware, or similar notebook, which could smack the **** out of a G4 seems like a waste of money. Once Apple throws in a 128 MB MR9600 or 9700, then we'll talk.

Although I would love to have their auto-adjust lighted keys. Those rock.

Those have to be a coouple of the best pics i have seen!! Kudos to you!

Finally some great photos of the Area 51m. Most I've seen are out of focus, taken with camera cell phones or are marred by flash hot spots. Thanks for letting me see what the Area 51m really looks like!
