Hi,

I hate ATI cards, they dont have Digital Vibrance the NVIDIA cards have... Does anyone know DELL carries any nVidia cards that work in 9200?? Thanks in advance.

sorry to break the news but the 9200 will suck for upgrades.....it was a "hold me over" until the new sanoma chipset came out!!

to answer your question.....no the 9700 128 will be it. (AFAIK)

I don't think so. The 9200 may have been a hold over system for Dell, but I like it better than the 9300. (I had both at one time.) The video card in this system takes up quite a bit of space in this machine, so I'm not sure there is another system that would have the same video card footprint.

I'd rather have a NVIDIA, since my old desktop has one that still works, but I'll give the ATi a chance. The only suggestion I have as far as the Digital Vibrance, is to go into the settings and change the gamma etc... until it matches what you want.

BTW, the Samsung screen is more washed out than the LG, so that may be a part of what you're seeing.

Yah i have Latiti.D600 and 9200 and Latit. D600 screen is much clearer and brighther than my 9200 Samsung XGA Screen Not sure why that is...

I kinda see dots (not sure how else to explain this) when i go close to 9200 Samsung screen..

even if they had the card, it'll be alot cheaper to buy a brand new laptop than upgradding just the video card
