Just received my xps gen2 two days ago. It has the LG screen. The screen has a vertical stripe from top to bottom, starting about half way across the left hinge. Darker to the left part of the screen. Talked to a CSR about the problem - solutions are to have the screen replaced ( only LG screens available here in Canada ) or replace the laptop. Has anyone else encountered this problem with the screen ?
