9300 DVD Player Problems

Anyone get a unit that has a dvd drive that drags? Almost like little ticks ocurring every 5 seconds or so. Hope it's a software problem.

I've seen a few posts in this forum about the physical drive not being "seated" or installed correctly. You might want to check that first.
Then check if DMA is enabled--there's a post about that causing "jerky" playback if not enabled.
