Accordin to Intel, 2200 range better then 2915 range

I'm not sure if anyone else saw this... but apparently the 2200 has better indoor range then the 2915! Am I reading this right?

Nope... wasn't reading it right. both have 100 feet @ G. Sorry guys... i would delete this thread if I could

Btw, what I would like to see is the intenal antenna range comparison on different notebooks.

Well I couldn't believe it when I saw it. 60 more feet with a different wireless card? Jesus...

I don't think you'll be able to pick out any signal w/o antenna attached to the mini-pci card in any case. And those number are just what a/b/g standards dictate, not specific to the card.

Yeah, the 2915 has 802.11a, which is a bit kewl as I can now detect that in my neighborhood hehe
