Now the latch broke.

Well just got my RMA to send my 5690 in. First I had the brightness thing that was fading in and out which I could deal with some but now the lock that holds the lid shut is busted and wont auto lock it down. At least it is under warrenty still.

if you weren't shipping it back, it's easy to replace and sager would send you one in the mail

where and how could i ask for a replacement? i also have the same problem.

also, could i do the same with the case for my LCD? it has the infamous hinge cracks and i can't be bothered to send it in and not have a computer for 2 weeks.

email tech support at the above. The LCD casing was $30 out of warranty. Pretty sure the hinge was a freebie.
