Dell Inspiron 8200

I know this is a Sager forum and I've learned a lot. But I would appreciate some help on this non Sager issue. My daugher has an Inspiron 8200 with a G4 Nvida video. She now lives on campus in a small room and it has cat11, cat45 and a tv cable outlet.

My question is can I purchase, or how do I look up, a tv turner to conect the tv cable in her room to the 8200 So she could watch tv.

I've think I've read on this forum that an external tv tuner may be an option but my search did not come up with anthing relevent (seach: external telivision tuner).

Your knowledge on this matter is appreciated.

Look down about four posts to "external USB tv tuner".

Well thanks Rackwell, Kasteo very good. I was lookng for *external USB tuner*. Now that I got, thanks to you two, the right nomenclature for the damed thing I can research and read reviews on them and make an informed decision.

Again thanks Rackwell and Kasteo for pointing me in the right direction.
