I do not like Intel, Microsoft, Dell, Wal-Mart, Nike, and a host of others. In short, I do not like the business practices of these companies.

Toshiba and Dell both suck major a**, from my experience, not some preconceived notion.

Toshiba is by far the worse of the two; terribly unreliable laptops and even worse support.

Dell also makes crappy products, but at least their support and services are above average to excellent, depending on which rep you talk to.

I don't know, I have some biases agaisnt some of these companies, but I try to keep my thought as unbiased as I can, so I end up with odd half-biases. The joys of being undecided.

I definitely like nVidia products better than ATI, but this is from actual experience. Currently, in my desktop I do have the ATI 9800 np, and the drivers suck arse for it. The drivers from ATI have given me so many problems it's not even funny. I do have to admit that when it works, it does run my games quite nicely. From my experience, nVidia drivers were more stable, and had a better interface (BTW, the last nVidia card I have had was the geforce 4 MX440, but it kept me happy for a while).

Yes, anyone is free to be deceived by Dell or any other greedy company, if that is what he/she wants to believe.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, I also have a very strong bias against Alienware.

I'm biased against Apple, Ford, and AOL (Axis of Evil!! ). Although, I have to admit the Apple G5's aren't tooooooo shabby.. but they're still Apples. I almost kinda like the 90's-new Mustangs and 90's F250's from Ford. AOL still sucks though.

I voted "AMD fanboy". However I'm not really, because while I prefer AMD desktop chips, at the same time I prefer Intel desktop chips.

Maybe ATI fanboy would have been more appropriate, but up until the 9700 came out I was undoubtedly an nVidia fanboy, and if nVidia produced a 9700-class card (For accomplishment, not speed), then I'd probably switch back.

So I guess I'm really a "Whoever makes the best part" fanboy.

So you think Asus, Alienware, and all other companies aren't after money? Please... every company is after money no matter what. Some companies start with better intentions than others, but in the end it is all the same and all boils down to money for EVERY company.

Edit: I dont want this thread to turn into a flame war thread, people just list what your biases are and dont attack others

I've always been very partial towards Nvidia... which is what makes laptop shopping so friggin' depressing.

Wups! I meant to say this:

I prefer AMD desktop chips, and Intel mobile chips.

I've preferred AMD on the desktop since about the Athlon, but the last Intel desktop CPU I owned was a 486. My first "modern" CPU was an AMD K6-2, and then I bought a Duron 800, and then an Athlon XP 1900+.

Since then I have not upgraded the desktop, but remain convinced that the Athlon 64 is the best solution on the market.

As for the mobile space, I am extremely impressed with the Pentium-M, and the Turion has not proven itself to have a great enough advantage for me to bother planning on switching for my next laptop. A significant price advantage or the right notebook could change that mind since they are not that far apart in benchmarks.
