Compal DL70

Has anyone had any experience with this laptop or any other Compal laptop for that matter? I saw this on discountlaptops.com and its just amazing for the price, but if the company is shotty then I may have to pass.

Price isn't that great once you trick it out, for a bit more, I'll take either a 8103 or 8104 depending on budget.

according to the site the weight should be like 6.5 or 7lbs.

Well since no one knows anything about this new system can someone give some feedback on other Compal systems?

Evul,

The CL56 was one of "the" laptops to get for the thin and light crowd that had a decent GPU back in its day (last year). I was going to get that but decided to wait for sonoma's to come out.

Compal usually makes decent laptops, and it is easy to find a reseller that sells them.
