USB 2.0 Universal Notebook Expansion Dock

I picked this up from DELL as it is "supposedly" made for the Inpiron line of notebooks. I am using it with my XPS GEN 2 and it seems to work except that it trashes the ability to control volumn through the keyboard i.e. Fn PageUp and PageDown.

Anyone else try this or any other docks for the i9300/XPS GEN 2?
