In case anyone was wondering whether the Inspiron 9300 fits on the Kensington Laptop stand (I did), here is a pic. that might convince you of the fit.

Is it just a stand or stand with port replicator?

It is a shame that Dell does not have a genuine APR or Dock option for 9300/XPS/6000.
I need DVI port to hook up Apple Cinema Display with my new i6000D. Nice picture, though. Thanks.

The 9300 does have a DVI port though. Is there no adapter that will convert the VGA-out to DVI, even with loss of quality?

The Kensington stands have two options...

One with 4 USBs, or the other without USBs for cheaper

Buy.com has some good deals, I got my set for $100 total...

Been looking for a stand myself. Looks to me like the Kensington would be a pain b/c it blocks access to the front media keys.....

What keyboard is that?

It's the Logitech DiNovo Bluetooth set. Works like a charm, plus it's thin enough that I can slip into my bag (and w/o extra cables!).

I think dell is offering this dock/stand in the XPS2 config.

I got a Kensington Laptop Desktop USB as well. It was used for my Inspiron 8600 - but now will be used for my 600m. I got it on Ebay for $43.00 shipped, great deal considering it's around $80.00 before shipping through the company. I love it, unfortunately, the first month I had it, the 8600 accidentally scratched the inside (where the laptop is held in place) of Kensington Desktop holder. Still, I don't care -- the accessory is by far the best computer accessory I've purchased for my laptop.

Exactly what outputs/inputs are there on it?

is this the stand that you can select under "accessories" when you buy the laptop from the dell site?

You can buy it from dell, but for more then you can get it elsewhere. www.buy.com has it pretty cheap as i remember
