sync dell axim x50 to linux box?

the title says it all. can it be done and how? i did some googling and came out dry. i don't have the axim yet, if anything, i might not have it till june, but something to keep in mind when my lappy comes back from repairs. do i need the windows on there or not. to sync with the pocket pc

i also have a ppc (toshiba e335) and haven't yet found a way to get it to sync. palm devices are syncable with a certain program (i forget what it's called, google for it), so if that's important to you i suggest maybe going with a palm device. then at least you wouldn't be supporting m$

i know palm is syncable, saw the package, think i actually have that one installed for one reason or another. i don't care to support microsoft. the only reason i use linux is because it is more stable, more secure (no spyware or viruses) and has a huge library of FREE programs. Familiar Project is a good idea, but it does disable some functionality from the pocket pc.
