I bought my 8790 less than a year ago. At first it ran fine except while running very graphic intensive applications such as Doom 3 the system would get to a point and just shut itself down. However over the recent months the problem has greatly intensified and now the computer will shut itself off when it is just sitting idly for an amount of time. I am certain it is an overheating problem because the computer lasts noticeably longest when the room is as cold as possible, and has almost no chance of going more than 10 minutes when the AC is off. This computer cost me $4000 and I am quite unhappy ending up with a piece of junk that can't run ITunes for more than 5 minutes without blowing itself out. Should I contact Sager customer service and see about a repair or an exchange? It is less than a year old so it is still in warranty I believe. Do people have a good history dealing with Sager customer service, or do they just not give a shit once they have your money like most computer manufacturers?
