The Griffin iCurve Stand.

Can any one tell me how a Powerbook is able to sit on the iCurve stand and not slide off? Seems to me if you put one hard surface (bottom of Powerbook) onto another hard surface (the plastic arms of the stand) the notebook would slide off...especially if the plastic arms are tilted downward towards the user...

As I said in the other thread, it's likely that the stands have clear rubber on them to stop sliding.

Yep, as I thought. Little Silicon pads that grip the notebook and keep it from sliding. Wasn't sure if there was some plastic piece that might "hook" onto the bottom of the Powerbook. As, silicon pads might over time loose their "stick"...

Any how, thanks for your response (Xarthan too!)! Didn't know you replied to my question in the other thread. Never got a e-mail notice for some reason.

Have a good weekend!

The iCurve also comes with silicon stoppers the sit on the end of the legs of the stand. Most photos of the iCurve are shown without these stoppers as it looks better without them.
