Guys... seriously, that's enough. I have loved this place because people have always been good-natured... The replies to Oldbuzzard were fine, I'm assuming you (Oldbuzzard) are simply looking for replies of the sort. It makes no sense to me personally how you are getting your kicks out of making fun of the exact reason why forums are set up... Are you simply out to prove that if someone says something controversial on the forums than people will respond? Lol, duh... that's what's going to happen because that's what they're here for. Not for controversy necessarily, but for sharing ideas, helping each other out, etc. I don't understand your position... If you have something against me, deal with me. There is no need to post in a thread that has a completely different purpose. If your ends are simply to be disruptive, or to get yourself kicked off of the forums (I don't know... to prove something? So far the only thing you're proving is that if one is disruptive, they'll cause a disruption... lol), then simply ask to be kicked off, I don't know.

In any case, in response to the parts that actually pertain to this topic...

This unit has all of the standard specs listed on PCTorque. It also includes everything in the pictures on PCTorque's review of it (because this is that unit...). Configured on PCTorque with whatever I can match up, it's about $2600... but the ac adaptor that is included with this one is NOT the inverter, it is the part that isn't for sale yet. The one cord that goes straight from the car plug to the sager, as opposed to an inverter which goes from the car plug to make an outlet, and then you plug in the regular power cord into that, and then that into the sager. It is about $100 more than the regular inverter according to reports. Thus, the retail is about $2650 at PCTorque, the place with the best prices.

I'll change the price to $2350. The unit itself is just like new, and mainly if anyone wants any customizations before delivery I can do that too, as mentioned.

I'll run through the exact specs briefly here for anyone who doesn't want to read the their uses on the review I wrote or go to PCTorque's site and look there or look at his review, lol, cuz it's a lot of places to go (although I highly recommend all three :-)).

-2.8 GHz Pentium 4 socket 478 processor, a regular desktop processor
-1 gig of PC2100 DDR Ram
-Radeon 9000 with 64 megs
-mp3 player with 128 megs of memory in an SD memory card
-TWO 40 Gig 5400 rpm hard drives
-DVD/CD-RW combo at 8x/16x/8x/24x
-all of the standard inputs and outputs listed, including spdif and digital mic in, plus USB2 and 6 pin firewire
-15.7" SXGA LCD (FLAWLESS as of now)
-TV tuner with coax and s-video inputs
-etc etc

As has been the case, Oldbuzzard, your reply did not make much sense. I did not claim to be more educated than you or anyone, in fact I would claim quite the opposite. If what you typed in the last post was what you got out of my post, then you are obviously misunderstanding me and my intentions. But, as you wish.

Investerguy, I appreciate your input and do realize those things. Believe me, it is not greed that keeps me at this price, lol. But, if I'm going to buy the next release of the 8886 using this money and the donations, then I will need enough, because I honestly don't have the money right now to buy one, or really contribute more than a little bit to buying it. As you and many others know, college isn't cheap. It's an unfortunate fact. :-( I would gladly offer it for less if these weren't the circumstances... I'd rather keep this one and use it to do tech support and send it back to PCTorque whenever he wanted it rather than sell it for a drastically reduced price in order to buy the next model (which, although it has improvements, is not going to be worth much more money to my personally because this unit is SWEET and has proved itself as such). For one thing, at a far reduced price, I won't be able to get near as much in the next model as this one has, lol, I can bet on that. Even if it would be considered "mine", I would not be able to demonstrate the capabilities or have enough of the options to truly provide complete tech support. Two hard drives is definitely a plus for both the reason of having that second bracket and being able to install other operating systems (I plan on installing Windows Longhorn, which is the next version of XP and has full hyperthreading support, as soon as I can get near an HT computer, lol, whether a sager or not, but I'd like to do it on a sager to see how it runs). Oh well. I hope this makes some sense. We'll see how it goes. Thank you again for your input and thanks to all who read and contribute to the forums (simply by virtue of your presense :-)).

Actually, Oldbuzzard, in the "modern" state of affairs, you can do things when and where you choose so long as you don't infringe on other's rights... If you want to post these things, do it in the off topic forum. If you have the urge to go nuts with language use, then expect to have someone edit it, because that is an infringement.

What do you mean by NT? What is no text... and how does hammer head fit the acronym?

Also, how is it that you can call me a "stat prostitute" without knowing me and then criticize others on the forum for labeling you for what you have made yourself out to be?

(BTW, Investorguy, the 128 megs of video memory is tentative, it may be 64 again just with the new core until June according to PCTorque. Also, as far as installments, for anyone curious about that, it would depend on whether PCTorque would accept that form of payment...).

Oldbuzzard... I ask you to please refrain from threatening anyone on these forums. I'll just leave it at that.

lol, funny thing is, Investorguy's scenerio actually makes sense :-) I had thought about that possibility before. It may be the case. If that is so, I'll go ahead and delete the posts once the real buzz comes through and sees what happened. If not, then I would have expected much more descretion from a mature man.

I agree about the sale, though. We'll see. The screen is flawless, though. Despite having shipped to PCTorque and then to me :-) So its durability goes without saying.

BTW, vanfanel, lol, I have been trying not to argue, rather just to try and see what Oldbuzzard wants, hopefully the analogy you provided doesn't necessarily apply :-) It was funny, though... (albeit, at the expense of people less fortunate, so that more than kinda sucks...)

Oh, and Oldbuzzard, if you are a kid, then I think you need to be taught some manners. You and me, battlefield1942, el alamein. I'll show you how to show some discretion. ;-) I'm just kidding of course, but if you do want to load up a game on your Charter Pipeline connection, I'll join you and you can take out some of your anger a little less offensively.

Nah, the theme isn't ruined. It's just one thread, and everyone is handling it quite well. Of course, it is taking attention away from the sale, lol, but whatever. :-) So be it.

Plus, a used computer isn't so bad if it's been formatted. It hasn't been used for long, and to be honest, it's really just gone through a big quality control thing :-) Lol, the review details it.
