If your using autogk 1.95, or above be sure that you have ripped the files with DVD decrpytor 22.214.171.124 (I think thats the latest).
This is how I do it on my machine:
1] I right click on the start button on windows and hit the explore key. I create a vob folder under my documets. This is where I tell DVD decryptor to send the ripped VOB files. This just make it easy for me since I can find it, and delet the containts when I'm done. Otherwise DVD decrpytor will create its own output folder, and you'll have to find it.
2] Open autogx and find the VOB folder created under my documents. The second step is to tell autogx where to put the finished file, and give it a name (e.g. Whatever the movie is called). When you open the destination tab you will noticed that the default is to use the same file which contains the VOB files. NEVER do this, it causes nothing but errors. Simply create a folder on the desk top where the completed divx file will be.
3] Select subtitles if there is any (its my experience that this is at best 50-50, some times it works sometimes not
4] Hit advanced option, if your using divx codec make sure it is checked, otherwise xivd codec will be used (I see no real difference between the two).
5] Hit add job button, then press start. If you want you can check the button to have the program shutdown your pc when done.
REMEMBER DVD DECRPTOR 3.5.4 HAS TO BE USED, AND SET UP A CERTAIN WAY. Before you do anything open autogk, and hit the about key. Its next to the advance section. Go to the FAQ tab and hit it. It will take you on the web to the page to set up DVD decrpytor.
