Just post here when you get it, and K6 can tell you exactly which holes to stuff the little wires into...it's cake, really, if you've done any modding before (desktop, even)...the only thing hard is that the wires are REALLY freaking small...like, tweezers-are-necessary-small (unless you have the fingers and concentration of a surgeon)...but, basically put, you can't do anything to screw up your 'puter short of a major catastrophe, so it's very safe...
Just thinking about what you're doing is pretty neat, though, eh? $100 for a 400Mhz+ increase in Pentium-M power is an incredible freaking deal considering I just checked Dell's site and they are literally charging $500 just to upgrade from a 2.0 to a 2.26 on the M170!! That's Dell providing about half the increase in Mhz you're getting from the mod in exchange for five times the price...what is that, like 1000% savings or something from doing the mod?!! Bwhahahhahaha!!! Also, stuff like this in the laptop world was UNHEARD OF only a year or so ago unless you were a genius engineer or something, so us end-users being able to easily mod and upgrade a notebook is just thrilling as hell for oldtimers like me, lol...go for it, save money, and have fun!
