Neat.

It's occurred to me that buying a laptop is really about brand loyalty, accentuated especially nowadays. For example, the only major difference between the Asus z71v and this new Sager is the brand name. So many new laptops are really coming with such similar loadouts that the only reason to buy one brand over another is because it's either cheaper or you've had good experiences with them in the past. It's not so much buying a computer as it is buying trust in the 'manufacturer'.

still not listed..and would you expect to have any leftover 3790's for purchase at a discount price?

Man, I like the specs but I do not like where the USB ports are located.

The only deal breaker for me (versus the Z71v) will be the price..

Let's hope it's competetive

Oh Now I remember. The 12 Cell was often Commentated as a Pregnant Whale Or Smth. How Much is it supposed to get on a regular battery. Also Anyone Know whether or not the battery design is hot swappable or not ?

Best Regards.

Hot swappable would mean you can swap it while the notebook is running, you would need 2 batteries for that. The battery does however have a quick release on it... no screwdriver needed.

Is WXGA the only glossy screen?

Yeah that's what I meant. I understand tne implications of the "HOT" . But yeah I meant can you change it easily , like the One on the 4880. So basically I can turn it off for a minute or two and change it. That Is Freaking Great. So basically this Laptop is perrrrrfect. Thanks Luke.

Oh BTW will we have an option to buy the 8 or 6 whichever is available for the 3880 ?

Edit: My Bad , I just saw it on the Screen , there is a latch button and a lock image next to the battery. Thank "The Luke" for the pictures.

Best Regards

So far it is only the 12 cell.
The 12-cell seems bulky and makes the laptop hard to carry around in backpacks and stuff :-/

Not so far... it just makes it look bulky, so far no issues carring it around.
