Interesting software.

You should post this in the undervoltage thread as well.

Very interesting indeed...
has anyone tried this?

What sucks is that we have to have Microsoft's .NET installed...
I'll stick with Rmclock for now.

I just downloaded this and I love it! This thing is like Mobile Meter, speedswitch XP, and undervolting in one! kshysio, rep 4 you! This plus ALS means I'll never use Power4Gear again!

lol, i uninstalled framework a couple weeks back as I didn't understand what in the world it was for and why I would need it.

i think you only needed the .net framework to download it, not to run it (but I could be wrong)

One caveat to this app is that you can only set up to 4 multiplier/voltage combinations, and the software does not dynamically throttle between the range of minimal and maximal voltages you specify, like RMClock does. Thus your processor may run on .7 volts at 600mhz and .94 volts at 1600mhz, but run on 1.1 volts when it throttles to 1000mhz. Rather quirky, but something which I'm sure could be easily rectified by the author.

Otherwise I like the myriad of options the program allows you to customise and also appreciate the various status displays available.

There's a scroll bar on the right of the voltage adjustment. You can scroll to reveal 4 more, or a total of 8 combinations

why doesn't ACPI temperature monitoring work on the M37EW/3790?
It's not showing any SMART info for my hard drive either, though other programs do.

Otherwise, it looks like a pretty slick program, I may quit using RMclock and MobileMeter. The fan control also seems to work on my M6Ne, which is wonderful given the lousy stock behavior of the Asus BIOS.

I use the application that comes with dell... which has the same options plus.. it has the color changing thing... for LEDs..... .. but I bet for those that dont need the color shit... would rock..

wow!!!!!
best app ever... well after nLite

Kshysio: may God bless you for sharing this info.

I've just installed it and the interface looking very neat.

You have to have .NET installed to install this program... *sigh*... I guess I'll install it and give it a shot. The feedback from everyone here seems to be positive...

What is .NET exactly? Is it some MSN crap?

More libraries on which programs are based on.

Btw, the software looks and feels highly beta.

*takes a step back from the software*

thanks!

Well, I installed .NET and I'm using the program...and I have to say I'm quite impressed. It does allow me to control the fans on my M6Ne, and it does most of what RMclock does... however, you have to set the voltages for EACH multiplier setting; not just the max and min multipliers.
It also shows a lot of the temperatures... I'm quite content I suppose.

I'd recommend this program - not for n00bs, though...

Is there any way to find out the default voltage for the middle multiplier settings? I don't want to mess with them unless I know what they were to start out with.
