I know there are a lot of really smart people on here, and considering what I have just done to my system and the fact that I cannot fix it, it doesn't look like I am one of them.
I've been trying today to change some of the icons for XP and as I think I went about it the complete wrong way, I have screwed up how my computer opens folders and drives. When I double click on a drive (C, D, etc.) it goes into "Search," not just opening or exploring the drive. I can explore if I right click then click "Explore," but otherwise I get that ****ing search. I think I did this by going into folder options and playing around with the functions of things in trying to change the icon of "Drives," for now the only action listed is "Find." That seems to support the fact that all I do by double clicking is activate Find instead of just opening the folder.
I can't seem to set it back and I am getting SO frustrated. I tried to add a new action, but it won't take "Open" or "Explore" as a "program" it says. On other types, it lists "Open" or "Explore" but it won't let me edit them to see what the actual function is. If this makes no sense I can try to explain better, but can anyone help me??
