Estimated delivery over 2 weeks and cancel order "?"

Ordered 9300 yesterday. Here is the latest.

Delivery Estimate: Monday, May 23, 2005 - Wednesday, May 25, 2005
This information is current as of Sunday, May 08, 2005

How accurate is this delivery date. I know with the desktops I've ordered they will tell me 2 to 3 weeks but then you receive it in less than a week.

If it is fairly accurate then Dell needs to ramp up their production. Two weeks gives customers to much time to change their mind or gives me more time to find better coupon codes .

When I check the status page, whens the lastest point I can cancel my order?

Thank!

usually the delivery dates are "safe dates" and they usually ship out about a week sooner than that, even less..for example, i ordered my 700m and the estimated ship date was about 3 weeks later...however, i had my laptop ship out 5 days after my order date..this happened 3 times...however, the 9300 might be different? but im pretty sure the estimate ship dates are not always 100% accurate..

I think you can cancel your order all the way up until it ships, and if it does indeed ship, DELL will tell you to refuse to accept the package if you want to cancel..

Wow.... so 2 weeks to completely from scratch design a customized computer to your specifications is too slow?

Odd. I seriously doubt you'll get a much faster ship date than that. If you keep waiting for a better deal, you'll find one because computers obviously slip in value faster than anything in the industry right now. So you could be until Christmas reordering your Dell to save another 75 bucks.

Man your hard on me and ya I think 2 weeks is slow IMHO especially compared to how fast I've seen them turn out the desktops I've ordered...by the way which are also customized to my specificaions

I wouldn't cancel for say $25 but if its $50+ I would seriously have to consider it. At least call them and see if they'll negotiate. I don't have money flowing out of my

I always wonder where or when I would use the mooning smiley. Now I used it twice in one post

Some harda--es in here Whats wrong with being impatient Newegg has me spoiled. Deliveries within 4 days max. To bad they don't offer laptops spec'd out like the 9300 at the same price point. It would have been a no brainer. NEWEGG BABY

Yes, but the joy of waiting for a laptop is pretty sweet as well.

I ordered my XPS 2 on the 6th and received it on the 21st, as per my sig. I received it 2 days before it was expected to ship.

Not bad at all.
