5660 HT / video chipset - Page 18

According to Intel, the only CPU with a 533 FSB that supports HT is the 3.06GHz
Has anyone succesfully activated HT on their laptops which aren't the 3.06 GHz but still use 533 MHz FSB?

800 MHz system bus: 3.20 GHz, 3 GHz, 2.80C GHz, 2.60C GHz, 2.40C GHz

533 MHz system bus: 3.06 GHz

Thanks a whole damn lot Henrik, that BatterySaver really is useful. I was VERY dissapointed about how the laptop underclocks itself on bateries(being the heavy gamer I am), and your program helped bring it back up to 100% clock speed, thanks.

Could you would you make a program designed specifically to lock the fans in full blast mode?

Well I tried this CPU temp monitoring program and I couldn't get the CPU above 62 with the burn in program running on one instance.

The temp at idle was 48.

I guess I got good cooling.

Yeah, if anyone had Batterysaver or Maxfan it would be appreciated since all of the links found on these forums appear to be dead.
