What is the name of your Sager?

Thread Starter
A little poll here. What is the name of your Sager and other computers you have? By name I mean the Windows networking/smb/UNC name or the host name if you're on Linux.

I have 3 computers on my network.

Trebuchet - my Sager. I call it this because it's mobile and it's incredibly powerful against the desktop minions!
Linuxbox - an old P2 266 that used to run Mandrake 9, but because I was too Linux-illiterate I put Win98se on it.
Dartagnan - a PIII 800 with a Radeon 7500. It was my primary computer until I got my 5680. I called it Dartagnan because it has three partitions: Athos is C (Windows and documents), Porthos is D (installers and games), and Aramis is E (mp3s).

Boy, your brother and sister must get confused a lot when you call out to them...

You: "Hey N!"
Sis: "What do you want?"
You: "No! N! I said N, not M!"
Sis: "Oh."

Desktop- "Musashi" (320 gig RAID 0 Array, 2 physical drives 4 virtual)

C= Tsuchi(Hard Earth) D= Junsui (Pure Water) E= Rekka (Blazing Fire) F= Kamikaze (Divine Wind)

Musashi, a famous japanese swordsman wrote the Go Rin No Sho, or book of 5 rings, Earth/Water/Fire/Wind/Emptiness (or Void), a treatice on swordsmanship and the way a warrior should live. Pity I don't have a partition for void. I was going to call the floppy drive that, since it is almost stoic in its emptiness, but you can't change it

Sager 5680: "Masamune"

Famous Japanese swordsmith, also referring to the blades he created. It was said that they possessed some sort of ki of their own because they were such masterworks. Supposedly wielded by the Yagyu swordsmen, Musashi, and Tokugawa Shoguns. Also interesting, if you placed a Masamune in a stream with the blade facing upstream, leaves would actually divert around the blade as thet floated down the river. However, an "evil" blade created by Murasame would draw all the leaves to it to be cut.

Lets agree that was way too much backstory ne?

My earlier machines were just THE SAGER, but my new wife (yep, traded in the old for an upgrade) is into things having names, so the old 8550 became the BIG BOY. When I got the 3300 it naturally became the BAD GIRL.

Then when I got the 8886, to honor a really cool relative of hers, it became BIG DADDY.

I don't have a clue for the next one, hopefully there will be some happy coincidence to suggest something.

Sager 8890 - antonov (the heavy lifter aircraft)
Toshiba 2710 - satellite (doh! - well it flys around ok)
Sparc RDI Britelite - rover (faithful old dog, always followed me, now housed in a pizza box, pending merge into antonov via vmware)
Old PII - phoenix (rescued from certain death and since rebuilt as a fax server)
Old 486 - stealth (floppy based Linux firewall)
HP printer - penguin (I had a spare Linux sticker that got stuck to it)
Routers - ren and stimpy
Mac Quadra - raincoat (lets not go there...)

I tend to recycle a lot of old systems, they make cheap application servers.
