Notebooks with glossy screens

Thread Starter
One of my friends got a notebook recently with the Fujitsu's Crystal View glossy screen and I thought it looked hot . I think I read that Sony's X-Brite is on glossy screens too but I'm not sure. Anyways, anyone know any good newer notebooks out there that have glossy screen, or other techs/brands with glossy screen?

Gateway calls it Ultrabrite.

I think just about everyone has it except IBM.

hp has it, asus has it... im personally biased to the fujitsu... aside from the 2400+ dollar toshiba quismo its the best

If it says {Ultra|Clear|Crystal|X}{Bright|View|Brite|Black}, it's glossy.

If it says Trulife, just avoid it. Dell has crappy notebook screens.

i personally hate the reflections

i would recommend using a glossy screen notebook in conditions where it is normally going to be used once before making a purchase.

the novelty wears off in a day and the irritation over the damn reflections begin

just my 0.02

and IBM does have an equivalent high brightness/contrast screen with wide viewing anlges. It is called flexview, (in plane switching technology) it is matte and is only available on their 15" screens.
