Nope, what do you mean by reversed? So when the temp says 47C it is really 74C?? When gaming my GPU temps stay around 47C.
no the dimm and gpu temperatures are reversed...

like if ur dimm says 65c and your gpu says 45c then its really your gpu that is 65 C

Holy crap, then my GPU stays very warm. Is 55C ok?

Seriously where do I risk damage with this stuff. Raw numbers would be great.

Actually, I have seen my GPU up to 63C when playing games today.
my dimm (actually GPU) has gotten up to 74C and iv smelled no burning.

graphics cores can go past 100C and be okay

also, the dothan cpu datasheet lists its thermal specifications as up to 100C...

basically, these notebook parts are built to handle heat, and lots of it

REALLY, wow. Thats all I can say. So seeing my GPU up around 66-70C will not hurt it. I am amazed.

I hit 345 core & 290 on the memory.
I've managed to set mine to 375 core and 290 mem, and runs very cool and stable. My GPU (well the dimm in fangui) never goes above 55, after hours of HL2.

BTW i used Centrino Harware Control undervolt my CPU (1.020)and overclock my GPU.

I've managed 395/320 stable on my 128MB X300 w/o hardware modifications. That's the absolute highest it would go. I undervolt my processor.

Planning to swap in an overclocked 400MHz-->533MHz Dothan to soon. While I'm at it, I'll be substituting arctic silver as the heatsink compound as well.

So maybe the GPU willl overclock a bit higher after surgery.

im interested to know how the arctic silver thing turns out jiggy. PM me

Jiggy, please let the rest of us know too, k? :-)

Cheers!

Jay
