Dear god. Was there that much of a need to be that much of a prick?

I don't understand why you didn't just burn the CD using the built-in stuff.

Maybe you should work on your own typing before whining about other people's typing.

actually i think dell and all other big companies should stop doing business with a$$holes like you
post #4 of 48
You remove your name from the Chat (name?), but still have your real name and phone number listed there

And,you need to be a little more patient.

I applaud with great enthusiasm your assertiveness and exacting expectations. If the SOB's are going to take thousands of my dollars then they better come off everything they owe me. I'm a very liberal and tolerant person...but shoddy workmanship and poor customer service are and should be unacceptable.

Howver, I doubt the efficacy of threads such as this and see them as particularly futile unless a clear plan to encourage change is set out and others persuaded to join.

If more than 1 person can credibly assert that he or she was induced to trade with Dell because of its advertisments regarding customer service...AND that there was actual damage incurred, a class-action may be viable. In the end it might have some nuisance value...

I don't understand why the OS CD issue is such a big deal to some people... The CD they're now going to mail you is the same CD that you could have burned using the Dell OS Recovery utility that came preinstalled on your laptop. So you spent 45 minutes in Dell chat and are now waiting 3 business days for a CD that you could have burned in 5 minutes. Was it worthwhile?
damn, you are an anal bitch. at least you're getting service.

jesus, you buy a dell notebook with the same spec but for 30% less than anywhere else you can get it... and then expect top-notch service? sorry, corners need to be cut when you buy an item at such a cheap price. nothing comes free, so stop being an asshole.

Yes it is. You misspelled lose and competent. You have two commas in the same place, two run on sentences, and your demeanor with CS sux like your grammar. Glad you're getting your CD, but I'd hate what kind of thread you would have started if the laptop hadn't booted. Be a man, and and less of a "biatch".

Again, the CD that they're mailing you is the same CD that you can burn with the OS recovery utility that came preinstalled on your laptop. They're still giving you the OS CD, they're just providing it in a different way. I agree that it's rather silly that they make you use your own CD to burn it rather than just throwing one in the box, but is it really that big of a deal?

LOL. amen. There's some butthead on the general forum who sent his 700m back because it had fingerprints on the screen when he got it and he's switching to Asus or some damn thing, I said a silent thanks for the fact I won't have to be listening to his whining on the Dell forums.

Here's one for booboo from your overworked, underpaid Dell CSRs wherever they are...

Damn you are a pathetic person. Nowhere does it state Dell will provide a full OS CD with your order. Also, as others have said you could just burn the exact same OS CD from your new 9300 rather than bitch and whine about it with Dell chat. The time and money spent dealing with people like you are what increases the price of goods in the long run.

The OS disk not being in your box is nothing like buying a car with three tires. Do you even think before you type?

If you said shipping your 9300 without the AC adapter was like buying a car with three tires, then I'd say you were right.

Looking at your earlier posts you should invest in a dictionary.
45 minutes wasted in 'chat' in order to receive a disk you could have made yourself for 50cents shows just how worthless your time is.

if i invested in a dictionary then people like yourself would not have a reason to complain.

that was solved in 15 seconds
Oh, you mean like your whinng to Dell chat? So if the logic holds true, then Dell must continue to provide "crap" support, otherwise you would have no reason to complain, meaning this thread would either never exist, or you would simply search out some other customer service wrong that has befallen you. Either way, it's clear we're not impressed by your Dell Chat antics, but are satisfied that you were able to ream them for a whopping .75 cents plus shipping and handling (at their cost, of course) to get an OS disk that was available to you all along in the form of a recovery disk. Dell and other computer sellers have made it clear recently they no longer wish to put a copy of Windows with your bundle, OEM or otherwise, but you've shown us your "savvy" skillz, so you MUST have known this.

Right?
