Hahahahahahaha - GOT MINE IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to start ripping porn from the satellite, haha!!!

This pic is through a video cable plugged into the RCA jack and using the wire as an antenna to pick up over-the-air broadcast TV, pretty damn good reception!!! I think I'll be watching TV in my office tomorrow at work, haha!

It does make the nVidia video card run alot hotter though so if you haven't done AS5 by now you might want to think about doing it.

Damn that was quick. I figured 4 days at least. Post Office is on a roll. So was it worth the wait.

Give FLY 2000 TV a look when you get some time. Its a very nice package I stumbled across.

If you dont mind give your own review of the tuner, good, bad and ugly. I've been very happy with it but Im biased towards it.

Also my temp on the video card only raises 2 degrees for no matter how long I have the tuner software running. Sure you got that AS5 on there right.

I'm only in Houston so it's 2 days usually. I get stuff from my parents in Mobile, AL in 1 day.

Yea, it's worth the wait. this thing is great! nice job and thanks for the hard work and getting done what I was having probs with, you got the connections I didn't have.

I gave FLY 2000 TV a try but not too sure I like it at this point. I have to get more time to screw with it. the only other problem is that it's not freeware. The sound with Fly doesn't see to be as good but I do like some of the settings options over WinDVR3. I'm just amazed at the reception I get using just a video cable as an antenna, haha.

Here's what you guys will need to get to hook up cable to it, I haven't gotten one yet since I wasn't expecting it so soon:

Sweet, glad it's working for ya Keisur. I nearly mugged the mailman today asking him where my damn tuner was. Hope it gets here tomorrow.

I've been out of town for a few days, am I too late or are there still any to be had?

In FLY make sure you enable Internal ADC audio and select the ASUS 7135 tv/fm tuner. I still havent quite figure FLY out but I do like the way I have it working. WinDVR has some nice features in it though. Im torn between the 2.

Just hope everyone else gets their units as quick and no mailmen get beaten waiting for them.

Well I've got about 6 tuners left and have spoken with Provideo about starting a production run for my next 200 ,they will be requiring a $1000 down payment in order to start the run so this will be done on a preorder basis. I can handle the payment but I want to see how many want a tuner before committing to it. In the end I have to buy all 200 before the end of the year.

I'll give that a shot. I was able to get video and sound through my Audigy though. I played with a few of the settings but didn't have alot of time last night.

WinDVR leaves some window fragments when you drag the tv window around. Have you noticed that?

I forgot about the audigy audio. I just use the realtek audio and have no problems with sound problems.

WinDVR doesnt leave any fragments on my machine and you would think I would have seen it after testing all those tuners. It sounds like your machine isnt refreshing the desktop like it should. If you right click on the desktop after you move windvr and hit refresh does it clear it up? I had that issue on one of my desktops before and forgot how I had to fix it. It was something corrupted and easily fixed as I remember.

the sound works fine through both Audigy and internal. I had the internal ADC enabled already. I will have to wait until lunch and go out to my car and try to pick up some channels though, I can't seem to get a signal in my office, crap!!

Weren't you playing around with someones video card drivers? It souds like you may have gotten some bad settings or some corruption in the drivers. May want to check your 2d refresh rate settings. If all else fails remove the video card drivers completely and grab a fresh set for www.laptopvideo2go.com

I'm using the XG 76.50 drivers from tweaksRUs.com right now.

Sounds like some corruption somewhere. Im running the 76.50 from laptopvideo2go and have not had any problems. Its a refresh rate issue in the 2d desktop if I remember right.I'll look for a link to the fix, I've seen it on one of those xp tweak forums.
Heh, you look for that while I go mailman hunting.
Caught that silly bugger. Anyway, have it installed and have only one problem - no video. Got audio and everything else. I have it hooked up directly to the cable outlet where I had a box hooked to previously. Any ideas?

Did you go thru the setup for cable? Also check the device manager and see if it installed a 7133 device instead of the 7171-35 device that should be there.
No clue why it wouldn't give me video, but all is good now. Seems to be much better than fly 2000, that thing didn't want to work very well at all.

I figured it out, I am running Boinc in the background and I shut it down and it runs perfectly. I have Boinc taking all the CPU it wants.
