Google's Keyhole satellite imagery and nVIDIA GPU's

Just wanted to post this to anyone interested in exploring our world. This software is the greatest. The software lets you zoom in on virtually any location in the US from a satellite. Certain locations have higher resolution imagery then others. You can find your house from space! Ahhh technology is something for the eye to behold for sure. Now its not real time of course but the images are streamed to you from Keyhole servers on demand and its very fast considering the nature of streaming on demand technology. Locations are available all over the world but not all locations are available for various reasons including security. Even specific locations in the US are "N/A" for obvious reasons. However if you look very closely you can see the faint outline of Area-51 ;-).

The best part is the software is supported by a wonderful company and community of users who are always willing to help. The software is free and sold on a subscription basis and is very cheap (As little as $25 to $30 a year unless you want to use it for real estate or for corporate usage). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AS ITS BECOME A HOBBY FOR ME.

Get this, here comes the good part:

Keyhole 2 NV is opto'd for nVIDIA GPU's only and simply rocks. Its only $25 to license for a year and worth every penny.

Keyhole 2 LT is for everyone with GPU's other then nVIDIA and is also very good. It can be licensed for only $30 per year.

The nVIDIA version has a free 14 day demo available here:
http://www.keyhole.com/body.php?h=do...s&t=keyhole2NV

The LT version (Non-nVIDIA cards) has I believe a 7 day trial and can be had here: http://www.keyhole.com/body.php?h=do...s&t=keyhole2LT

The demo's DO NOT require a CC for trial, even better!

I know I must sound like the poster child for these guys, but this software is that cool. Hope some people enjoy it as much as I do!

PS, the guys on the keyhole forums find many celebrity homes and post links to them, funny as hell to see some of the stuff you can find with this software...

ALMOST FORGOT, I can't speak for the LT version but the nVIDIA version also comes with access to MARS! Yes you can fly around Mars and check out the terrain. I am almost positive the LT version has it too. Very, Very cool...

Yeah, the reason this software is cool is because its in color. I know Microshaft's terra server is in B&W. Cool stuff none the less...

Wow, 180 mb, i will give it a try. I saw the Google search map early today and there was no need for download, but then seemed like it was only the US.

Wow! This is fun! It's pretty addictive, but kind of weird...like what if we actually can see Craig nekkid...or knowing that DB is able to look at all of us through our windows... *running, screaming and closing all the blinds*
