Please help how to remove optical drive?

Guys
Can anybody give me any tips on removing the optical drive and installing another back in?

It is new I don't want to break anything.

Isn't it in the manual? As I don't have the 9860 I'm making suppositions here. There two screws that attach the current primary drive. Remove those two and it should slide out. Supposing you are referring to the primary slot.

Yes, there is very detailed diagrams and instructions in the user's manual. That's what it's for.

And the actual answer to your question is:

1. Remove the 4 screws holding in the hard drive cover. It is below the arc of fans, besides the black Sager label tellilng you about your machine.

2. There is a little silver screw in the top left hand (or right hand, depending on which way you're looking at it... but right behind the optical drive(s)). Unscrew that then you can push out the optical drives.
