Atleast 1650 x 1050, maybe even 1920 x 1200, WUXGA by the looks of it. Awesome if this is true. Built in WebCam? http://www.flickr.com/photos/mht/9535811/

Woo Hoo

Cmon baby!

Anyone got the speeds on the turion? Is it an MT or an ML turion?

Also Hopefully PC3200 instead of PC2700 standard

Did I mention UXGA Hopefully?

Looks like 13 icons lined up vertically. Therefore, if all Windows settings are at normal in regards to icons and fonts, this would be a 15.4" WSXGA+ display.

Also, Acer never ships any notebook with UXGA or WUXGA support, so I highly doubt you would see it on this model either.

does the carbon fiber shell make it lighter? how much does it weigh compared to the 3200? Also, what are the specs on the Turion 64 chip? the gpu?
Carbon fiber would definately take some weight off, and it's a lot stronger than the plastic that Acer has used on the previous Ferraris. I dont know though, that picture looks a little fake to me. Granted it looks pretty cool, but I honestly cant see Acer making a non-ferrari-red laptop anytime soon.

Ferrari makes black cars too, no?
I thought the machine looked very nice on first glance at that picture. The black with red trim is a winner in my opinion. It is always neat to see a painted style machine from a non-gaming boutique as Acer has done with the Ferrari series.

Hopefully it has the lower powered (as in wattage) Turion and sports a SATA drive instead of PATA. The wait is on.

Acer 8104 / Asus W1 (refresh) / Asus Z17V / Acer Ferrari 4000

The choices are exapanding once again ....

Aww, too bad it is the ML instead of MT, but I guess MT only goes up to 1.8 ghz at the moment. Oh well, it still looks kick ass and it is now on my list of possible notebooks to get . I hope it doesn't have the stupid curvy keyboard like in the 8104 though.
