What should I do?

Hello everyone,

I have pretty much decided on the XPS gen 2 because of its price and stats. I was ready to order with that 35% off coupon but figured I would wait until the morning, stupidly of me i checked the time on the forum when i woke up and it was am, not pm lol. Well I have until august to get a laptop, should I wait for another deal like this? Will there be one as good? I would really like to snag one off of dell outlet for 1400 or so, any tips on getting one from the outlet? I never see any avalable. Well I was so close last night.....

the day will come soon hopefully, my first laptop ever

ps: will Corsair XMS 1GB DDR work in the lappie? I have a stick laying around and would order with 512 if it works. Also where can i find a coupon like that 35% i never saw it on techbargains.com coupon section and they usually have everything

Well there's currently a $750 off $1999 right now, but that's only valueable if your computer is right at $2,000 or else the 35% off becomes a much better deal. Personally, I'd wait for another %-off coupon to come around (should be within a few weeks) unless you're really desperate.

The only way to really get Dell Outlet deals is to wait until Dell's next fiscal quarter is about to end (sometime I july I think) and hope for a "15% off Outlet" coupon. I snagged the laptop in my sig. for ~$1,370 after a 15% outlet coupon the last time they had this deal, but it's a rare coupon indeed.

Also, that RAM hasta be a PC4200 DDR2 SODIMM or else it won't work.

EDIT: xpbargains.com & gotapex.com usually have ALL the coupons.

Your best bet is to check daily. Most of these coupons take 24 hours or less to expire, so a watchful eye is important. Those 2 sites I mentioned are updated daily.
