Please let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks in anticipation

Hello Redphyve.

Unfortunately at this time there isn't a program in place to have this happen.

I haven't heard anything about this. Currently the Star Wars cases are for new systems only.

You should e-mail feedback@alienware.com and tell them you would want to see something happen in this regard.

I have already told my manager of this and he will keep it in mind.

Sorry about that.

*Alot of Bad words*

those cases are sweet, are they sprayed? I would think at that price they are probably vinyl stickers or something like that

Honestly????

I don't care....I JUST WANT THEM................

My dream scenario is Vader one side and Luke on the other side with matching Alienice each side.....oh, I just came over all warm and funny.....excuse me for a moment....

Yeah, they are most likely case skins. Other companies charge a premium for painted cases, so I can't see that as being airbrushing. There is a company that will make custom skins based on images you send to them. All you have to do is cut them to the dimensions of the panels. Don't remember the site offhand though.

airbrushing that many cases with the same design would be extremely tedious and not cost effective unless it was done by machine. they look good, i like certain parts of the light side case and the dark side case, i think it would be a tough call.

I didnt think there would be an upgrade policy in place for that. The same thing happened when Alienware launched the Dragon case...and the Predator case. Current owners wanted to upgrade to the newer case. But the cost for shipping and labor (and parts) made it more logical to just purchase a new system. would Alienware even sell a Dark Side system with a Light Side door?? then fit two different color AlienIce. If you pull that off it would be a one of a kind.

Well

Honestly? I'd pay them for the doors and do the whole thing myself quite honestly...

I can't afford to buy another one, the math just don't work, and I'll just try all avenues until something gives....and then I'd do the airbrush thing and pay somebody to do it for me. Even do a transfer, there are graphics companies that would do transfers, given the dimensions and drawings.

I'll see what happens with AW first. They've not let me down yet.......

I think the case is really cool, but I would like to see a photo of the actual case first. Because the pics they use on the website are done by photoshop isn't it?

Well it did look like a photoshop image to me from the first "teaser images". Sorry if I am wrong. Maybe it looks so good that I think its done by photoshop.

Red, my case was damaged during shipping when new. Under my account I can see that AW charged out warranty for a new case $238.

Maybe you can buy a new case with the Star Wars theme seperate. I know youd have no trouble selling your current Predator case.

Thank you for contacting Alienware.

We definitely appreciate your comments about our products and services, thank you.

In regards to your inquiry, the Alienware Star Wars systems are custom painted here at our production facility and unfortunately, the side panels are not available as upgrades.

If there is any future option to perform this upgrade, rest assured that it will be posted in our website as to inform our customer.

<sigh>

Not giving up though....

How about the Napolean Dynomite Predator case?

There is no way they are painting cases for that cheap unless it is a crappy paint job.

I emailed them once asking if I could purchase a side panel for my case. I thought about windowing my case, but I want a spare if anything happens. The answer: no...
