Have Q's, need answers...

I'm new to this thread, which ROCKS BTW. Thanks to the patrons that help others. Hope i can contribute one day.

I just ordered a 9300 with the UXGA. If i did not like it and wanted to switch to the XGA and/or if i had a problem with it. Do i have to send my lappy BACK? Or will they send me a replacement screen and i swap it myself?

I have heard that they send you a screen. But i think its your choice though.
This is only what i have heard and read on these forums. So theres my 5c

Thx gazar, i would rather have it sent to me so i dont lose any computing time with my lappy. It loses value every day whether it's being used or not.

Man, i'm so stoked! Can't wait to get it! I just hope the UXGA isn't hard for me to read or at least there is a "decent" lower resolution that i can use for certain office aplications. I understand that i will lose clarity at lower resolutions, as long as it's not TOO BAD, i can live with it.

I DOUBT they will just send you the other screen. you will most likely have to return and reorder. or you can reorder, have that other lappy get to you, swap HD's when it comes and then return the other one.

While I was waiting for mine to arrive, I was thinking the same. Now that it's here.... the screen is fantastic! I was worrying over nothing...

Typically you can barter with them to send you a replacement so you dont loose productivity. But being that there would be a price difference, Im not sure... you may have to return it. If you have good eyesight, the uxga will be fine and ITS NICE!

just to be ahead of the rest, go check out the lappy's at best buy. they should have some at both res.
Once I saw the 1920x1400, I knew that's the one I wanted.

dont worry TT75, the screen is the most amazing thing you will ever lay your eyes upon, i guarentee you will like it. especially if u watch dvd's/game.

So after the hundreds of complaints about the screen on this forum and the hundreds of exchange requests because of the screen, you guaranty he will like it?

Man...I can't even see the duck in the avatar anymore. I think I liked it better when we all thought it was a duck!

Get the UXGA...even with my 42 yr old eyses it is the only way to go...

Thx for the comments and encouragement. It's better for me to be possitive and open minded than nervous about my investment. I can always return it so i should be STOKED that, if nothing else, i get to test drive a free lappy for 21 days....hehehe..... A FATT one!

Ok, Im gonna git me a new game before the lappy comes, which is it? Doom? WoW? Been out of gaming for awhile. Any suggestions? What game really struts this bad boys stuff?
