I sent my notebook from the post office on the 24th with 3 day shipping. It arrived yesterday (1st) and was fixed. I never thought that Sager would be able to fix my notebook so fast.

It was gone a total of 7 days.

This cannot be the norm is it?

I posted this when the problem started:
Quote:
I was on AC power and my screen blinked a few times and shut down. None of the LED's were on and the power button would not turn on the laptop. The light on the adapter was on and the connection was alright. It should not be overheating because the laptop is sitting on a flat wooden surface I made for this purpose. Just nothing.
I did not get an explaination as to what they did, but I don't think that it involved just a power supply change.

When it arrived Windows XP made me call Microsoft for some activation code. Isn't thiis what Windows XP does when the hardware is changed?
