So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

i found out its called configfree, but it only runs on a toshiba quasimo that ive seen.
here found a pic
Can you get us a copy of the installable ?
Can we find out which Wirless Card Chipset is being used ?
Can we have some 'trace' / 'spy' proggies running on your friends machine to figure out what it does specific to the Qosmio that could be replicated for our Dells ?
I was able to download it and install it using the Setup.. but after it got done installing in the end when running it said.. 'does not run in this system'.
I would really like to make it work so lets see if we can 'tweak' it
actually all we need to do is run RegMon, FileMon applications and hook into the application process to MONITOR how and where it checks for the Toshiba.. once we have that we can come up with a game plan to EMULATE that..
See if you can get those apps on that machine and hook it on your friends machine..
I am going to install the monitors on my dell to see what I can find.
That would be Fin tight guys!! To be able to tell how far away each wireless network is and to choose the best signal. Now, another good thing to look at would be the amount of resources it takes up when running in the background.
but this can not happen without your support in finding and investigating on a Toshiba laptop
I remember SONY used to have certain folders etc in its HDD for its SW to install etc (so needed to copy those pieces onto any non SONY machine to get the VAIO software to install )
Not the location, but I am sure that the 'distance' represented in the app is directly related to the strength of each individual signal... besides... it just looks cool...
