ATTN: M680 Owners

I was looking through the M680 user's manual and found a cool bit of info. According to the manual if you hit FN + F8 the screen will increase in brightness above its normal highest setting. If you press it again the display will decrease in brightness lower than the normal dimmest setting. Hit the key combo once again and the display returns to normal. Anyone care to try this out? Kinda curious if the bright setting will make the display as bright as the legendary Sony Xbrites.

Interesting find. However, looks to me like it just remembers the brightness setting you are on (say medium). 2. Pressing again brings the screen to max brightness (no brighter than manually adjusting it). 3. A third time and it lowers the brightness to minimum (no lower than manually lowering it). 4. Pressing the combo again goes back to your original setting (medium in this example). Hope that makes sense.
