And it was like a comercial for my xps2 no lie I had several people come up and ask what kind of computer it was the guy next to me said he had a sony and that the xps was far nicer then that and that his sony battery lasts all of 45 mins. his wife was impressed as well at one point there were three people in the aisle watching my movie (total recall, one of my favorite gobernator movies).

I think dell really needs to market these top of the line products more then just the bargain basement $399 models on there comercials.

I say the same thing. I actually sell DELL's and my selling point for the 9300 and XPS is putting in a movie and letting it do the rest ( I choose between Shrek 2, and TFTF). I also just turn on Vulcan or the other demos avalible for the xps, and BAM!!! SOLD ANOTHER ONE!!

I use "Power DVD". I hate Dell's media experience software.

NVIDIA DVD Decoder is your best bet. It is built from the ground up to work with your Go 6800 and you get the benefit of PureVideo.

No, but it's worth the money. I think they have a demo version if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, but for some reason they say you can't purchase it at the moment. They are working on their e-store.

laptop too big for flights

I dont know how you were able to comfortably view a movie on an airline.
I was on Continental on my trip to Peru and with the seats in front reclined, there was no way I could open my 9200 fully without having to jam it 3 inches from my face.

they really cram you into the seats these days. i found trying to use the 9200 on an airline to be a real joke. in order to open the laptop so the screen is facing your eyes and not your navel, you have to really move it alot closer to your body, or it wont angle up (remember, seat infront of you reclined right into your face). so i had the laptop sorta angled in a V shape.

yeah i think the seats in the planes they fly to peru are half the size of normal seats, i swear. when i visited there i was seriously uncomfortable WITHOUT a notebook.
