My 9300 is being shipped and I saw the config to be samsung lcd WUXGA and sony dvd rw......

I always see negative comments on these 2 components. OMG I am stunned when I saw these 2 parts in my system details...

Don't borrow trouble.. wait until you get it and see how it is before worrying. I have seen negative comments about LGs too..

If the screen is bad its pretty easy to get another shipped.

My Sony rips faster than the NEC ND-3520A's I've got in my desktop. I know. I was surprised too.

don't frickin worry about it. If you can't be excited about your new system, I'd just cancel. People are supposed to be excited and anticipating new laptops, not fretting and being nervous about it like they're getting ready to do a crack transaction across the street from popo's house.

Agreed - I have 2 XPS' 1 with LG and 1 with Samsung - and they look very similar - not enough to worry about.
