I'm extremely tempted by the spec of the HWM 760 model of this laptop which is out here in the UK, but i've not seen any reviews yet. Any info would be appreciated!

yeah I got one today =D
but it's still in the store coz when I bought it, the store is about to close...(coz I had to add memory, and upgrade windows xp to professional edition)

I'll write a full review when I have my laptop in my hands...

Basically, from what I saw with my own eyes, it's a 2.4kg laptop, or 5.3lbs. It's classified as Thin and Light, and it can be a desktop replacement as well....
It has a 15.4 inch Widescreen (forgot the resolution, it's like 1280 X 800) with the LCD sharp/brightness thing installed. (Like Sony's XBRITE) I forgot the name for Samsungs...

But, I also know that Sony uses Samsung's LCD displays, so the Samsung's LCD display should be around Sony's XBRITE level...(Think PSP. Japanese PSPs uses Samsung's monitor)

It comes with an ATI Mobility Radeon X600 graphics card...128MB DEDICATED, not those crappy Nvidia...
I don't know the full power of the X600, that will be in my full review. But this card can be REPLACEABLE...perfect option if this cards get old...

512MB Ram is standard, but I upgraded to 1GB...so I don't know what's the power...

It comes with a 60HD 5400RPM harddrive...fast as hell...

1.73ghz...CAN BE EXPANDABLE as well..but fast enough
also it comes with a DVD burner...

thats the Samsung X50 in a nutshell...stay tuned for the full review.

Great Stuff!

I look forward to reading your review. I'm really interested to know how quiet the X50 is, and whether the top of the case gets very warm after several hours of use.

How much was it?

I sounds like an excellent notebook... however, it's pretty hard to believe that it has upgradable GPU...!

(It also looks really sexy!)

Dude I want to get this notebook... unfortunately Samsung doesn't sell it in my country... does anybody know which countries have it in Europe?

if its an x600 I highly doubt its upgradable.... And OMG its 3700$ what a rip off

I am interested
Been looking for it for a while. The best I can find is $3200, it does look sexy, and I do like it
Samsung stuffs everything it could into this laptop, and I think it's worth.
