Greenish and blurred image when playing media...

I have a TM8103 and since the very first day I found this problem with my media player. When I play a media, the images are hardly recognisable and mostly green and orange colors are seen. I was advised to install the Xvid to get this problem resolved, but it didn't do any good. Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my system!!

IS this only showing up with media player? Are the video file you are trying to play all come from the same source? Cab you play online movie trailer and MTV under the Movie&TV tap? Can you play any Can you play a DVD with the stock PowerDVD?

i was having the same problem with media player 9.0 that actual wmv files that dont need XVID codecs to run were green and orange and i could not see them right..

this is what i did
I installed windows media player 10 and problems went away.

Actually I experienced this both on windows media player and realplayer. I do have the latest (windows media player 10 installed) and yet the problem is still there. By the way this does not happen all the time, although the same videos that are impossible to watch on my acer TM8103 are basically well seen on my gateway PC.

I second that. I was having problems playing HD VMWs from the Microsoft site.
The pre-installed Media Player (the one that comes with the original Acer 8100 bundle) is buggy.
Updating it to a newer version should solve the problems.
