I am extremely frustrated right now. I received my laptop from Acer repair after nearly 1 month of repair. As i already expected, the lid was scratched up even more than the first time i sent it in for repair. This time they did some work by replacing MOBO, audio board, speaker R and L. However, there seems more problems than before even though the noise that i described to them is gone. Wireless is not working anymore. I'm standing next to the wireless router and it is not even detecting it;whereas the old laptop did. WHen it finally detects it, it won't connect. The LCD lid makes a cracking noise when i try to close it. I'm not sure if they are having an 8 year old kid doing the repair, or are they rushing through the repair without looking into the problems. For some reason, the laptop seems faster than the one i returned for repair. Maybe the static noise signified a deeper problem in the first place. What should I do? Should i return for another repair which i don't want to because the laptop is going to come back in a worse condition. I am thinking of calling the dealer that sold the laptop to me and see if they could help me out. I know they shouldnt' be involved anymore because acer spends so much time in repairing that the 30 days exchange for a new laptop has already expired. I will try to call the dealer tomorrow and see how it goes. If not, i will take it up with the press. Acer gives me the excuse that they don't replace laptops. My laptop is not supposed to be worth $2000 if it can't even connect to a wireless connection and having the LCD lid sound like a 10 year old car with noises is even worse. Can someone help me out and let me know what i can do to get this thing replaced? I know i will not be able to get my money back as much as I want the money back to get a new laptop.
