i was very dissapointed with the movie i think lucas thinks he can pull anything out of his @$$ and sell. the original 4,5,and 6 are the best after watching all 6 movies.

Hated the last two movies, loved Sith.

Sith rocks! End of story....does enough to validate the other films for me, they still can't compare with 4, 5 and 6, but that was a different time and a different mind-set.

Problem is, on their own, 1 and 2 and 3 are great movies but will never be seen as such for one reason: they carry the baggage of the history and our rapturous reception of the original three movies and our expectations from those three passed on and magnified by memory onto the prequels. Lucas could have made 3 fantastic movies with rip-snorting dialogue and amazing acting and special effects and it still would not have been good enough. Why? Because it would always be in the shadow of the original 3 movies.

If we could find someone who had not heard of, seen or been exposed to StarWars AT ALL, and shown him/her the prequel movies, they would probably think these were great movies. But that's just wishful thinking.........

But as they stand individually, these movies work....

Just my 2c, but worth more than most....I'm kidding!

I'm writing this from my smart phone (internet enabled), everybody's gone but I still refuse to leave the movie theater. Want to sabor the moment a bit more. Gotta love the smell of popcorn.

I'm also picking up some Star Wars related stuff that where left forgotten here by people that rushed out as soon as the movie is over to be the first to place their review on the internet.

That's one way of getting free stuff....

Did you jerk of in your popcorn box (you know the trick, make a hole in the bottom, stick yer member thru, then keep yer hand in the buttery popcorn)?

Uh, no. (they didn't use real butter so I couldn't)

I could have gone through the rest of the day without hearing that...

*Raises hand*

I haven't seen any of them.

Chris

You're not well, Go out and buy the boxset, watch them, buy Eps 1 and 2, watch them and then go get a ticket to see Ep 3, preferably in digital, analogue sucks. You'll see the difference if you go to see the analogue and then the digital.

Trust me, it's worth losing your Star Wars cherry for.

And another thing, you may not have seen them but you have been influenced by them. You've seen clips, read stories, watched documentaries...and fantasised about Leiea in that slave-girl bikini....you know you have....we all have....haven't we??????????

Meh, I never really was into the whole 'Space-Fiction' type of movies. Beside, it's fun to be the minority when it comes to movies I haven't seen. Don't even get me started on those. I even used to work at Blockbuster Video and still haven't seen shat. Guess I rented too many games instead.

Some vicious freak just leaked it to the internet. Whoever watches a movie like this one in a way like this (filmed by a home camera and compressed for view on a computer) must not like movies.

Or just an enterprising hopeful that's going to be visited by the FBI very soon.
lololol, I still can't understand why anybody would download it....but hey...whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Princess Leia in slave girl costume . . .LOL. She was on drugs back then. Now she looks more like Sally Struthers in a G String. That is probably why Lucas chose not to make an EP 7.

Loved Sith - evil is always more interesting. I'd like to see 1 and 2 again to see if I'd like them any better now. Only prob is enduring the cartoon with the pseudo-Jamaican accent. Retch!

Twisted by the Dark Side, Young Skywalker has Become!

So I just came back from the cinema.
It has been so AMAZINGLY IMPRESSIVE, my legendary Star Wars!
So the chain has been linked. Skywalker's kid will kill him as in the first series.
Maybe I will go watch again.
