Reccommended MP3 sites?

Just got a little "Pocket Dj" to get me by. I havent tried any of the "subscription" based sites for music. (Napster/Rhapsody to go) Any ideas or comments on some good sites? Anyone trying the monthly fee type places?

plus...

I heard there is still some bugs with the transfer from pc to mp3 (on the monthly plan sites) You guys noticing anything?

itunes is a no go, try napster or the yahoo music site.

other than that I would say google is your friend.

IPods only are the "norm" for large capacity players, IMO. I needed something that I would actually use most if not ALL the space.

Anyways....I guess ill look into Napster.

whats the monthly fee on Napster?
can you please give me more details on how this works cause I been using Kazaa for years and I hate it. If I pay a monthly fee at Napster is it like unlimited or limtied downloads?

then i presume you got the DJ 5GB...don't know what you mean about "norm" for large capacity players since the mini comes in 4GB and 6GB and apple has the 1GB and 512MB shuffle.

i agree, dump the DJ and get an ipod.

What i meant was that "Ipods" are the "cream of the crop" when it comes to
hard drive players. However, a micro drive player will fit my needs and , IMO,
theres really not much seperation other the the "shuffle" and display ( I dont mind it, so thats not important to me) Plus , on top of that, theres the price and the fact that Ipods arent compatible with Napster and (I believe) RhapsodytoGo subscription(s) plans.

Finally, unless you have some mp3 sites to talk about, please save your "dump the DJ for the Ipod" comments for the Apple forum. This thread isnt asking "Dj or Ipod?"

$14.95/mnth I think. Unlimited downloads. (some tracks are "buy only", fyi)

Will you people get over your ipod selling, youre not going to make commission. I have used numerous mp3 players, and while the ipod is a fine player, it certainly is not any better than most of the other mp3 players. They are all a bit different, and each has a different strength to offer. Saying dump the dj and get an ipod is pretty ignorant and stupid. I bet you're all yankees fans, too. I guess the dj isn't as jump-on-the-bandwagon cool, though.

As for download sites, some people use allofmp3 dot com. However, its legality in America has been questioned. I don't like download services in general because usually only 128kb songs are offered. If I was goign to do anything, I'd do this: http://www.yourmusic.com/enroll/browse/

dump the dj and get an ipod. indirectly you are asking ipod or dj since napster only allows compatability with WMP.

since last year, ipods work with rhapsody since real 10.5 is compatible with ipod.

forget napster and microsoft...will billy's statements the other day about ipod, it sounds like another stage for another lawsuit.

prices are the same between mini ipod and dj mini

Your not fooling anybody. I never DIRECTLY or INDIRECTLY said anything about the actual "players". I asked about SITES. I used capitals since your obviously having a hardtime. Are you aware that the Ipod is from Apple. Please go to that forum. Thanks, appreciate it. Im not gonna argue, at all and i never did, about DJ vs Ipod cause there is no argument. (you happy now?) So unless you have something "informative" to contribute, dont let the door hit you in the (you know where). Now go collect your commission from apple.

a lot of ipod's have bugs, but i wouldn't settle for anything less. as far as downloads go. i'd just find a good friend that hasnt been caught by the riaa

no idiot, i have two ipods and use real as well on my dell...and since you don't, you are only a poser. again real (aka rhapsody) and ipod work fine...but you know all

Do you even know what poser means skaterboy? I would actually have to sit here and be saying (again) DJ > IPOD which , for the last time, I NEVER DID.
All I said, is that in terms of micro drive players, the DJ works fine. Im glad your so proud of your player, its such a great thing. (/tear) For petes sake, If i was heavy into having a topnotch Mp3 player, yes an Ipod is the greatest,best,most wonderful. Enjoy your Ipod cause you obviously saved money on your choice of a notebook. (Why dont you have a Mac since your so Apple gung ho?) / sarcasm

a poser is someone who is so po he sure ain't got enough money to get himself an ipod.

i hate apple OS, b/c they are all backwards and stuff from windows, thus i am appleless.

i could care rats ass about if you have a DJ or an apple.

i am posting IAW topic/question...as i have had to reply to your comments, thus, posting IAW your topic/question. moreover, ipod v. dj is germane as the one benefit of the 700m is the integrated firewire port which my 1st generation ipod required. as such, the 700m was a perfect fit for the apple ipod. having windows based system and an ipod leads one to try all that is available...thus we come to the mp3 download sites. since you obviously haven't done it yourself, i offered my experiences having such experiences with both. so instead of being you, just say thankyou.

in this day and age, apples and pc's can get along. my only wish is the dj wouldn't have the dorky wheel in the middle and that it came out sooner than the ipod.
