Fan program ??

OK,
I just got my 8890, is there a way to keep the fans running at all times like on the 8887 ??

I wasn't aware that there was a way to keep the 8887 (or 8890) fans running non-stop. There is no need to. The fans kick in when they are needed. Is there a reason you want them on all the time?

Yes, in the BIOS on the 8887, you could set it to MAX performance (or something like that) in the power saving settings.

Yes, I would like my 8890 to run cool.

Reverse that, at least on my 8886 if you disable power saving in the BIOS the fans run all the time.

The 8890 has no power saving options.

are you sure you arent thinking of windows power management? it has a max performance setting i know but i dont think it has anything to do with the fans although not sure.. but i know some laptops do have some power saving settings in bios too..
