apple care

Is apple care worth the money and is it really the best service?

For two extra years of coverage, especially on a laptop, it's worth it. Though you can't get AppleCare if you're in Florida, New York, or Washington State (I think this one is excluded...I know the other two are).

Yes, I personally think it is worth it. Though the notebook maybe obsolete when it comes to year 2, it is always better to be safe than sorry. It sucks cuz I live in Florida, but I will be going to school outside of FL. I wonder if I can get the extended care since I'll be using the notebook outside of FL?

If you order Apple care in another state you can get it and if you come back to Florida they will service your computer, but you have to order it from another state and use an address in that other state or you can't get it.

You have a year from purchase to buy the extended AppleCare.

but with the address, is it the billing or shipping address. I am pretty sure it will depend on the billing address, and if so I won't be able to get apple care.

If you walk into an apple store in another state and buy Apple care, then you bought it in that state and they can't do anything if you move back to florida.
