Odd Speed Switch issue on i6000

Thread Starter
Speed Switch was working great on my i6000 w/PM 1.5 until yesterday, when it started displaying that the cpu was at 598MHz, even when set to max performance (on AC, dynamic switching on battery). Is there something wrong or is SpeedSwitch just displaying the cpu frequency inaccurately?

hmm...i havent had this problem at all.....Speedstep isnt the only setting that can downclock your processor automatically if your not using full load....try running something that uses a lot of CPU power and then look at it...see what happens.
I dont remember where else you can change your settings for speed......but i know you can.
