Will i9300 keyboard fit on the 600m?

I'm really not crazy about the 'feel' of the 600m's keyboard and find the i9300's to be superior...

I'm wondering if I can install the i9300 keyboard successfully onto the 600m. Can someone please confirm if this is even possible? TIA

It will not fit. 9200, 9300, and XPS2 have a different configuration.

My guess is that it will fit because it looks like it has the same layout and the same end connector that connects to the motherboard.

If the 9300/xps2 had a trackpointer I would try inserting it to my 600m. The some newer latitudes have a trackstick pointer though so I might try if their keyboard will fit on my 600m.

Nah, it looks to me like the size is a bit different, look at some of the keys. The i9300 keyboard looks a bit bigger, so I don't think they'll be interchangeable...

Yup, the 9300 keyboard will fit your 600m laptop..........about as well as the hood from a cadillac will fit on a yugo.

DUH, is the 9300 the same size as the 600m?? Come on guys

I actually did do the swap and it is not easily possible - so, I was unsuccessful in my attempt

I say that because the keyboard notches (on the bottom which slide under/into the palmrest) are not in same positions. Otherwise the i9300's keyboard looks like it would fit and its connector did fit onto the 600m's mobo.

If you want a better feel for a 600m keyboard bend it so it's a little concave up in the center and flat on the sides. I did that and it's benn very solid all around
