102 Celcius playing CS:S! Z71V - Page 3

hmm, when I had the later, non-dell drivers for my quadro 1400 it had a temperature tab in the driver section. It had I think a warning/shut down something or other at 95C or something around in the 90s. I dunno if my quadro has a direct temperature monitor as it is based on the 6800 gpu, so I would guess so. In any case, when I play CS:S I think the highest I've seen is high 60s, maybe low 70s.

I can't do any more testing now though, work, and then of course it is a completely different system so it wouldn't be the best comparison.

yeah... different system will naturally (for lack of a better word) get different temps. Thanks for your help though.

Anyone run a Z71V and CS source that wants to run a temp check on the "AUX" location? You'd be awesome

From the forum over @ nvidia and 3dguru, i believe the consensus was the best drivers so far was the 71.44 or the 76.50.

Arn't the 71.84/89 older then the 71.92? Or have they modded them?
