9300 deliv time?

I understand that alot of ppls delivery time has veried from dell and I find it hard to believe that since they have already built, kitted, and tested my laptop (says the check order page from dell) that my ship date will be June 6th which is my estimate. How long should I estimate till they ship it if I ordered it yesterday and it has now been almost 2 days and they're already that far? Or are dell's shipping estimates actually fairly accurate? MAN this sounds like a b*tchy post! Im gonna go to sleep now...

Mine shipped 8 days earlier than estimated. I had a couple of items that were supposed to delay shipment but it got to the "boxing" stage of production only 24 hours after my order. Shipping was quick too - must have a fast track from Tennessee to central Florida as it only took 48 hours from the posted ship date to delivery.

150,000 PCs a day leave their factories.... parts to assembly faster than you can say rumplestilzkin.... HAving said that, delays can happen.

I'm just waiting for boxing...then I should be getting it. Hopefully Newegg beats Dell in shipping my upgrade HDD, RAM, external HDD enclosure, logitech mx518 mouse, and UT2004 so that i can actually USE my PC when I get it...

boxing usually takes 3-4 days and then it ships via UPS...

If there is a check next to an item (kitting, build, testing, etc), does that mean they have completed that item ("is testing completed?" "check" "onto the next item in the list..."), or does it mean they are working on the last item in the list that is checked?

The check should mean that whatever it is is finished. Im on the boxing stage as well right now and hopefully it will only take 3-4 days like was said above.

Cool - my checkmark is on boxing so hopefully mine ships within 3-4 days, too. I ordered late tuesday night, and my arrival date (with next day shipping) was June 1. I need it June 2 for a trip!!!

But once I saw that it was already at boxing yesterday, I figured it would come sooner, and what you all have written about convinces me of that fact.

Good Luck

I ordered my 9300 in sig below on may 11th and it has been in boxing since may 13th. It still hasn't shipped, been in boxing a whole week, mine was estimated to ship on the 23rd so unless it ships today there estimate would be spot on. I did get the wuxga screen though.

It looks as if people's have been shipping 2-3 days after hitting the boxing phase as of late. Do any of you know if they're able to ship Saturdays? Ordered mine on yesterday (Thursday) and it hit boxing that night.

Depends where you live. I had 3-5 days boxing, shipped according to the Dell site on friday, started actually moving on monday, and got delivered on tuesday. Boston is a pretty good place to get your stuff delivered to quickly though

Dell's work seems to continue during the weekends, but unfortunately UPS doesn't seem to do anything during those days...

Ordered my 9300 yesterday>>>Expected Ship date is June 10th. This is after Dell and AAFES screwed up my first order.

Acording to the UPS web site my I9300 actully should be here Tuesday 5/24! wow thats quick! 1 week!

I must be really unlucky because I orderd my i9300 on May 11, and shipping has been delayed from May 19 to May 26. It still is "InProduction" after a week and a half.
