Ordered mine on the 11th and has been in boxing since the 13th, but it still hasn't shipped, its estimated ship date is monday and it better ship or i'll be so , i don't know why boxing has taken so long for my system but its driving me crazy, 10 days for boxing counting the weekend.

Estimated Delivery: Tuesday! I got "next day" shipping because originally it said the ship date would be May 31, and I needed it LATEST by June 1st. Geez, this computer might even beat the extra 2GB memory and 7200 RPM drive I bought from Newegg and ZipZoomFly!

UPS says it is "GROUND DEL CONF", so if that gets it here next day that's fine with me.

argh. my estimated delivery date is today, but either they haven't updated the tracking info (ground shipping WTF?) or else it's still 30 miles away.

y'all are super lucky...friggin dell... I ordered mine on May 12 and it was supposed to get here today...but instead they send me this stupid email...

I have a friend who had that, ran out of P4 something end of last year on another system, he started getting really irate over the phone as the delay was 8 more days extra, and then just cancelled and hung. Dell Customer Service phoned him (at work) one hour later, appologized and upgraded the proccessor to the next one up and gave him a $50 coupon. He already had NEXT DAY and he got that refunded I think. By the way, I'm not suggesting you do this.... My friend had next day and had already sent several emails concerning time frames for delivery.

Mine's been delivered, although it's at my parents' house and I can't go over now. My 2GB memory and 7.2K RPM drive already arrived... so the first order of business will be to reinstall Windows on the new drive...

Sounds like y'all have good grounds to play the "Dell Game." Just call them to "discuss" the wait and don't settle for anything less than a $75-100 coupon and an upgrade to next day shipping on your order. BTW those coupons are good for any order that cost $.01 more than the coupon itself!!!

Dell is so fast with this stuff. Its awsome. I ordered mine the 20th and everything was finished on the 25th. I expect to be getting it tomorrow. It was scheduled to be delivered the 8th of June.

I've had my gig of ram sitting here for almost a week...it makes me wanna swim to Malaysia and pick up the lappy myself. I wrote them an angry email and I yelled @ the guy over the phone, then I checked my status 30 minutes later...my lappy went from preproduction to the Boxing phase....whoa :-)

Man i'm pissed, i ordered mine on the 11th and mine has been delayed twice and now estimated to ship on 6-7-05, and we ordered almost the exact same system, only i got the 1.73ghz m
